Teachings, Church History and Bible Prophecy
The origin of the teachings of Bible Students and Jehovah's Witnesses groups
This article is not against this groups, is about the origin of their teachings.
There are some religious groups who say that they have obeyed the commandments below and therefore only they have divine guidance, only they have come out of Babylon the Great and thus only they are God's people. Among these groups are such a group are Jehovah's Witnesses. They have a specific teaching about the seven times of 2520 years and say that this doctrine is from God. Obviously, if the doctrine of the seven times is not from God, then it is from the Evil One (Satan the Devil) and so they have not strayed from all that is unclean and are not out of Babylon the Great. Therefore, "Come out from among them and be separated from them," says the Lord, "do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you." (2 Cor. 6:17) Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of her, my people, that you may not partake of her sins and be struck with her plagues!" (Rev. 18: 4)
Jehovah's Witnesses are taught by their staff that their religion and teachings come from God. But Charles Taze Russell, their founder, claimed that he looked in the garden of the various cults and picked the flowers he preferred, from which he made a bouquet (see the testimony in the book The Finished Mystery). Obviously, flowers represent the teachings and the gardens, the Christian churches.
That is why certain flowers picked by Russell are not found in the Bible, but in the garden of certain churches existing in his time. Such a flower is the doctrine of the seven times (of 2520 years), smelled in various Adventist and pre-Adventist ways (groups). By smell is meant its interpretation. So how can we discern which smell comes from God and which does not? How did they check if the 2520 year theory is from a man or from God’s spirit?
The Witnesses know that Russell's idea of the seven times (to be understand his vision of the 2520 years) no longer corresponds to what Witnesses now believe about this interpretation, but still believe in some parts of it, see the research on http://www.607v587.com/
The basis of this doctrine was taken from the Adventists, and in turn they took it from others. Whoever wishes can examine what this doctrine sounds like in the Adventist view.
Here is the article, but NOTE that I not support this view:

2520 Prophecy. 344 likes. Featured book - William Miller's 2520 Prophecy. ... Where in the Bible does it say that Manasseh was captured in his 22nd year?
After the failure of the Millerite expectation in 1843-1844, the Adventist
preachers George Storrs and Nelson H. Barbour of the George Storrs’ Adventist
branch still preached the 2520 year, and they gave this view to their new associated
pastor and disciple Charles Taze Russell.
So, Bible Students and Jehovah's Witnesses have this view from William Miller,
through Nelson H. Barbour and others. But
today JW’s believe that Adventist are from Babylon the Great, but they not.
Another connection with the origin of the so-called 2520 years, the Times of the Nations are related not to God, but to a man, Joshua Spalding
It is very interesting how certain people take different doctrines formulated by people and place them "in the mouth of God."
The 2520 years
Gentile Times are from God or from Joshua Spalding?
If this man was a man of God, why did not the Witnesses
and the Bible Students take up all his doctrine? William Miller, George Storrs, Nelson Barbour and
other Adventist preachers are connected with this teaching.
From the book Nelson Barbour: The Millennium's Forgotten Prophet (available at
lulu.com):
"Barbour is indebted to John Aquila Brown for the 2520 year computation.
Brown in turn owes the calculation of the “seven times” of Daniel’s prophecy as
2520 years and the association of it to The Times of the Gentiles to Joshua
Spalding.
Spaulding wrote Divine Theory; A System of Divinity in 1798, though it seems
not to have been published until 1808. Spalding, writing of the seven-times of
Daniel’s Great Tree Vision, said:
Seven times, or one full week of years, upon the great prophetic scale, is 2520
years. This supposition is much strengthened by the consideration, that the
continuance of mystical Babylon is said expressly to be for a time, times, and
a half; and as the times allotted for this division of the empire, is the half
of a week, three times and a half, it is natural to conclude, that the whole of
the times, called the times of the Gentiles, is a whole week, or seven
times."

Some questions about the 2520 years and 1914 dogma
Our Lord and Savior Jesus, the Son of God, now is a spiritual being, and he
have a spiritual body. So, it is logic, that this body is like his Father’s
body, and man can not seen this spiritual glory: John 3:13,16, 4:24, 17:5 and
1Timothy 6:16. Human world can’t see our Lord Jesus spiritual body. But, all of
this is not a problem to admit his manifestation behind on the perceptible signs,
when he will come, compare with Matthew 24:33, Revelation 6:15-17.
The first problem:
The starting point of the dogma leading to 1914 is the reinterpretation of a prophecy fulfilled one hundred percent from Daniel chapter 4. This is a dangerous game. Behind this scenario is not God, but the Evil one.
The second problem:
Even if such a reinterpretation were possible - which I doubt - if he come in 1914 to receive royal power and authority, what about Matthew 28:18-20? He received all the authority in heaven and earth long time before 1914.
The third problem:
The 1914 JW’s theory say our Lord Jesus come BEFORE the signs, but the Bible say he will come AFTER the signs: Matthew 24:27-33
The fourth problem:
"Jerusalem oppressed till the end of the gentiles time", so the Gentile Times not ended:
Luke 21:24 (KJV) -
And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive
into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until
the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
The fifth problem:
The background of this doctrine is through Bible Student Movement, Wendelist and Barbourite Adventist Movement, William Miller's Movement, Joshua Spalding, John Aquila Brown's and other speculators. Not from God’s spirit, was from the spirit of Babylon The Great speculators who’s forget the teaching “to watch”:

The timeline of this page is very informative, but it is related to Russell's speculations.
Who were the first associated of pastor Charles Taze Russell?
Should a believer investigate the origin of the teachings he believes? Yes.
In response, Jesus told them, "Take heed that no man deceive you." (Matt. 24: 4)
Jesus then began to say to them, "Take heed that no man deceive you." (Mark 13: 5)
Was CT Russell an Adventist pastor who became an ex-Adventist?
According to his testimony:
"Looking back to 1871, we see that many of our company were are known as Second Adventists." WTR,
Feb. 1881, p 188.
For example:
Who baptized CT Russell? An Adventist preacher: George Storrs
According to the Adventist magazine Bible Examiner report:

It seems likely the Russells were among those immersed by the Adventist
preacher George Storrs on his June 1874 visit to Pittsburgh

When did Russell get in touch with the Adventists?
The first contact with the Adventists was through an evangelization of Jonas Wendel.

Russell and the 1873 Second Coming
A branch of the Adventists (led by George Storrs) announced that the second coming of the Lord Jesus would take place in 1873. Russell was convinced only after a single evangelistic participation in his city. Why did Russell accept the message of these Adventists about 1873 so quickly? In 1870, Jonas Wendell associated with George Storrs, published their views in the booklet entitled The Present Truth, or Meat in Due Season concluding that the Second Advent was sure to occur in 1873.
Russell was a young, wealthy but atheist merchant at the time, and he suffered from a contagious sexually transmitted disease of the time, syphilis, specific to those who frequented women of light morals.
He was glad
to know that his illness, which at the time was incurable and therefore
incurable, would end that year. What naivete! So
Russell became an Adventist to get rid of a serious illness.
What did not happen and obviously, this
disease crushed him all his life.
Charles Taze Russell's faith was to follow the Devil's bait.
Russell, the preacher of 1873-1874-1914 doctrine
Russell preached the doctrine of 1873-1874 all his life, believing that Jesus came invisible that year and started his reign in 1874, crushing this world in 1914. Crazy people find it hard to think they are crazy.
https://ro.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Taze_Russell
So, Charles Taze Russel was a "Second Adventist" linked pastor?
Yes.
In response, Jesus told them, "Take heed that no man deceive you." (Matt. 24: 4)
Jesus then began to say to them, "Take heed that no man deceive you." (Mark 13: 5)
What the Adventist movement predicted come true?
No. Is this dangerous? Yes. For this is what is written in the Bible: Jesus answered: "Be careful that no one deceives you. For many will come in My Name and say: "I am the Christ" and "The time is near." Do not follow them (Luke 21:8)
The word of the leader of the Adventists William Miller was believed so as much like the word of Christ, although Christ did not say such a thing. They predicted that Jesus would return in 1843. It did not happen. Instead of learning something from this mistake, they turned to interpretations and thus created vain expectations. For example, they claimed that they erred in their calculation by a year and that the true date of the Lord's return will be in 1844. Obviously, this date did not come true either. But instead of asking God for forgiveness, Adventist leader William Miller ran to his beloved graves and wept bitterly that he could not see again his loved ones who had died. He very much hoped to see his loved ones again, and to rejoice in them, telling them that he was no longer an atheist. It seems that a decisive factor in his futile hope was his longing to reconcile with his faithful parents, who died angrily while he was an atheist. He hurried to see them alive, believing that the resurrection would be in 1843, then in 1844. Sometimes we have vain hopes that lead us astray. I heard stories and I saw a man myself, who thought they would not die because they would see the return of the Lord Jesus. Obviously it didn't happen.
I came across a bizarre case of a prophet who predicted that Jesus would return in 2019. The reason? To get rid of the cold winters. Being very poor, he lived in a makeshift hut and had no firewood. Satan can deceive us in many ways.
According to the Bible, what should be done when someone predicts something that is not fulfilled?
Deuteronomy 18:21You may say to yourselves, “How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?” 22If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed.
Does former Adventist pastor Charles Taze Russell fit the warning in Deuteronomy 18: 21,22?
Yes. He and his companions waited for events that did not take place in 1873 (the coming of the Lord), 1844 (the coming of the Lord, to his kingdom), 1878 (the resurrection), 1881 (the rapture), 1914 (the beginning of Christ's reign). Nothing happened. How else can we believe such people? Only if we were as lost-minded as they were.
Russell the Adventist linked
"During the time of his Bible study, Russell was influenced (and also
baptized - my note) heavily by several Adventists such as George Storrs, Jonas
Wendell, George Stetson and Nelson Barbour. Other possible influencers were the
Christadelphians, the Lutheran minister Joseph Seiss and possibly the Freemasonry.
The Watchtower Society has in more recent years admitted this Adventist
influence on Russell, stating for example that Russell "learned much of
the mortality of the soul" (soul sleep) from George Storrs. Russell
himself acknowledged his indebtedness to Adventists such as Stetson, Storrs,
Wendell and Barbour. Thus, even according to the Society today, Russell learned
"much" about theology including soul sleep from Adventists, not from
the Bible alone. Russell's Bible study group seems to have been an Adventist
oriented study. In fact, according to Jonsson, Russell's Bible study group had
numerous and close contacts with certain Adventists, including a group under
the leadership of Jonas Wendell in Allegheny and George Storrs' congregation in
New York."
"Much of Russell's theology came from these and earlier Adventists. Some
of Russell's beliefs can be traced back to the very beginning of the Second
Advent movement started by William Miller, such as certain time calculations
and some of Russell's type/antitype hermeneutics."
Another refferences in Apostles Of Denial: Russell's Bible Student Movement - A
Millerite Off Shot
Why were there so many schisms in Adventism?
Because they were not anchored well in the Word of God.
Each founder of the Adventist sect more or less followed his own head, not after Jesus Christ, who is the head of the Church, as we are told in the Bible: and does not cling to the Head from which the whole body, nourished and well-cohesed, with the help of joints and ligaments, receives the growth that God gives it. Charles Taze Russell early view about the Adventist Nelson H. Barbour as "the chosen vessel of God", was it real?
Adventist pastor Charles Taze Russell early view about Nelson H. Barbour as "the chosen vessel of God"
(Time and Prophecy, by David Rice, page 9)
"Bro. Russell says of him: "A brother, Barbour of Rochester, was we believe, the chosen vessel of God through whom the 'Midnight Cry' issued to the sleeping virgins of Christ, announcing a discrepancy of thirty years in some of Miller's calculations, and giving a rearrangement of the same argument (and some additional), proving that ... the morning was in 1873, and the Bridegroom due in that morning in 1874." (R288)
"Other Adventists adopted these views also. Bro. Russell wrote "I recalled certain arguments used by my friend Jonas Wendell and other Adventists to prove that 1873 would witness the burning of the world etc. -- the chronology of the world showing that the six thousand years from Adam ended with the beginning of 1873 -- and other arguments drawn from the Scriptures and supposed to coincide." (R3822)8"
http://2043ad.com/timeandprophecy.pdf
Nelson H. Barbour as "the chosen vessel of God" is confirmed in another place, "The Finished Mystery", from 1917, in which is stated:
"Pastor Russell took the place of Mr. Barbour who became unfaitful and upon whom was fulfilled the prophecies of Matt. 24:48-51 and Zech. 11:15-17".
So, who knows if CT Russell had other wrong teachings or not? Certainly, God! And his words make it clear.

But was this man "the chosen vessel of God"? No. Not at all. He was just an Adventist linked speculator. We are commanded to beware of this kind of people>
Col 2:18. Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind.
A new brand of the Second Adventists and the appearance of a false Bible Study movement
THE BIBLE STUDY MOVEMENT
IN THE DAYS OF C. T. RUSSELL, BEFORE 1874
The false Adventist movement before the 1874 year
A false beginnings and a false witnessing
In 1870 at Allegheny (now Pittsburgh, northside), Pa., Charles Taze Russell and others (perhaps about ten) beginning to meet in studies of the Bible. Among these early ones were William Imrie Mann, who was
subsequently to help him for many years; A.D. Jones, a clerk in the Russell haberdashery; W.H. Conley, an older man; his father Joseph L. Russell, and his sister Mae. It was in the year 1872 that he first
concluded the scriptures taught that Jesus gave himself as a substitutionary atonement for Adam’s transgression, and that as a result all mankind “must come forth from their graves and be brought to a clear knowledge of the truth and to a full opportunity to gain everlasting life in Christ.” (These doctrines, called "ransom" and "restitution," were subsequently the foundation and basis of all Russell’s teachings.)
It is said the three Russells were immersed in 1874.3 Then in 1876 October, Charles T. Russell was elected pastor of the Allegheny Bible class. They were greatly assisted by the Adventist George W. Stetson of Pittsburgh (1871-1873) and then 100 miles to the north, at Edinboro, Pa. (1873-1879), and by Adventist George Storrs (1796-1879) of Brooklyn, editor of the Bible Examiner until 1879.
It was also in 1876 that he met the Adventist Nelson H. Barbour, editor of The Herald of the Morning (b. June 1875), then of Rochester, N.Y. (previously The Midnight Cry and Herald of the Morning in Boston), and his colleague John H. Paton, from Almont, Mich. Barbour and Paton were much older than Russell.
Russell learned from Paton and Barbour the chronology and time features of the Second Advent, indicating the Lord had already returned invisibly in 1874 Autumn. In turn, he contributed to them
information on the "ransom" doctrine and on the object and manner of the Second Advent. Thereupon, in 1877,6 Barbour and Russell published a 196-page booklet, “The Three Worlds and Plan of
Redemption,” combining the ideas of restitution and time-prophecy. The Herald of the Morning was then revitalized, with Russell providing the finances and becoming an assistant editor. Barbour
continued publishing from Rochester, while Russell and Paton traveled and contributed articles. They were joined in this work by Arthur P. Adams, a young Methodist minister in Beverly, Mass. These four and A.D. Jones constituted a zealous team promulgating the doctrines of the ransom and the Lord’s invisible presence.
In 1877 Russell called together all the Protestant ministers of Pittsburgh and Allegheny, Pa., to show them the Lord had already returned and was invisibly present. Perhaps one-third attended the meeting, but none agreed with him. Also, in the spring of 1877 Russell wrote a pamphlet, “The Object and Manner of the Lord’s Return,” covering invisible presence, a rapture, restitution, and a suggestion that the return of favor to Israel would be due in 1878.
It seems likely the Russells were among those immersed by the Adventist George Storrs on his June 1874 visit to Pittsburgh
(reported in the Bible Examiner).
Some detail is given in the Present Truth 73, 5, p66-79 (Sep.-Oct. 1991).
In December 1873, N.H. Barbour of Rochester, N.Y., began publishing The Midnight Cry, a monthly journal teaching from Biblical chronology that the Second Advent would occur in 1874. The circulation soon reached 15,000. But then many separated in wariness of time prophecy. Then 1874 came and nothing visible occurred. They were false witnesses of the Lord.
According to the Bible, what should he have done?
God does not take into account the times of ignorance and now commands all people everywhere to repent; (Acts 17:30)
But I preached first to those in Damascus, then in Jerusalem, in all Judea and to the Gentiles, to repent and return to God and do deeds worthy of their repentance. (Acts 26:20)
But, with the hardening of your heart, which does not want to repent, you are gathering a treasure of anger for the day of anger and of showing the righteous judgment of God, (Rom. 2:5)
I gave her time to repent, but she doesn't want to repent of her fornication! (Rev. 2:21)
A new split of the Second Adventists and the appearance of the Bible Student movement with some bad Adventist influences
THE BIBLE STUDY MOVEMENT
IN THE DAYS OF C. T. RUSSELL, AFTER 1874
The false Adventist movement after the 1874 year
A false teaching and a false witnessing
Russell old and new associates continuing to preach a false teaching and giving a false testimony
After 1874
After re-checking the chronology, and after re-examining the prophecies, it was
concluded that the Lord had returned invisibly. Then this 16-page monthly
changed its name to The Herald of the Morning ca. 1875 June.
Its distribution
in 1878 was probably around 5,000 to 6,000. Two others who helped the studies were George W. Stetson, wellesteemed in the entire Christian community, and George Storrs, one of the four prime movers of the Adventist movement of the 1840s, and later a founder of the Life and Advent Union group of Adventists.
Cf. Studies in the Scriptures, Vol. 2, p.223: “Many of these parallels, and other truths, were seen from prophecy, and were preached as here presented, several years prior to A.D. 1878 - that year being announced as the time of returning favor to Israel, before it came, and before any event marked it so. The author of this volume published these conclusions drawn from Scripture, in pamphlet form, in the spring of A.D. 1877.”
The Allegheny population was around 75,000 (and growing) – about half that of Pittsburgh.
Compare Martin Luther's wrong conclusion: “When the Turk beginneth a little to decline, then certainly the last days will come.” Miles Grant, “Positive Theology,” 6th edn.; Boston: Advent Christian Publication Society [ca. 1895], p. 402; quoting “Table Talk,” ch.
58, 1st edn., p. 479.
Based on chronological parallels, all were expecting a rapture of the saints in the spring of 1878. But when that spring came and nothing visible happened, a parting of the ways was at hand. Russell reinterpreted the date to mean that only sleeping saints were raised, and that it had been invisible, in accordance with a prior suggestion by G. Storrs (see Appendix A). Barbour instead renounced the
ransom doctrine and published an article in The Herald of the Morning saying so. Russell and Paton continued until the end of the year to publish articles reaffirming their belief in the ransom doctrine, but they were unable to convince Barbour. Then they both left Barbour, leaving the Adventist Allegheny ecclesia of pastor Barbour.
What was the reason and why they saw certain so-called data, which would have been predicted in the Bible (which most Christian preachers did not see)?
Well, they believed that the Bible has hidden messages that only those initiated by God fully understand. But such a thing does not exist in the Bible, but this thought comes from a vain and self-aggrandizing thought, just as in the case of the Gnostic movement that has long passed.
We are warned not to be deceived by such people:
so that we are no longer children, floating hither and thither, carried by every wind of learning, by the cunning of people and by their cunning in the means of deception; (Eph. 4:14)
Take care that no one steals you with philosophy and vain delusion, according to the tradition of men, according to the beginning teachings of the world, and not according to Christ. (Col. 2:8)
Russell’s Zion’s Watch Tower
A propaganda for fake End Time news, mixed with the defense of the faith
The Russell’s started a big propaganda for a fake End Time news about the end time in 1914 and mixed it with the defense of the faith.
The devil would not be successful if he did not make (falsely, of course) the apologist of the faith. This is the case with many characters - behind whom is none other than Satan, who erects himself in the defenders of faith and the Bible, so that he can then justify his personal, extremist points of view. This is how Russell and his group attract supporters, presenting themselves as defenders of the faith.
“And it is not surprising, because even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.” (2Cor.11:14)
Russell proceeded to edit and publish his own monthly from Pittsburgh, Zion’s Watch Tower and Herald of Christ’s Presence. The purpose was to promulgate the doctrines of the ransom, restitution, invisible second presence, and other truths as they might become more clearly understood.
In this effort J.H. Paton, Almont, Michigan; Wm. I. Mann, Allegheny, Pa.; and B.W. Keith, Dansville, New York; H.B. Rice, West Oakland, Calif.; and A.D. Jones, Pittsburgh, Pa., were listed as regular contributors.
Much of the initial distribution was, of course, the same as for The Herald of the Morning. Though, in addition, the Watch Tower filled out the subscriptions of Rice’s The Last Trump, which had had to be
suspended. Many of the recipients of the Watch Tower were already well acquainted with the editor, owing to his travels over the preceding three years from New England to the Midwest. From the first issue of 1879 July to 1880 January about 6,000 copies of each issue were sent, whether requested or not; thereafter it was sent for 50¢ per year, or free to those requesting it.
It seems worthwhile to interject that it was in January 1879 that Maria Frances Ackley9 responded to a meeting appealing to the public, and she commenced meeting with the Allegheny Bible study class.
Within three months, in March 1879, she became Mrs. C.T. Russell.10 She promptly became associate editor of the Watch Tower.
A considerable portion of the first several issues of the Watch Tower was written by Paton. These articles dealt mainly with the ransom, church, restitution, and to a lesser extent the invisible presence,
chronology, numerology, and the tabernacle.
Then, too, since “The Three Worlds” had been out of print for some time, Paton wrote a new 332-page book published in June 1880, covering the same essentials, called “Day Dawn.” Jones arranged for
the printing and binding, while Russell advertised it in the Watch Tower.
But then differences arose. The first hint of this was seen in 1880 October, when an editor’s note was appended to Paton’s article on the scapegoat. (The following month a note of praise was appended to Paton’s article on the covenants.) In 1881 Barbour published an article on Lev. 16 in The Herald of the Morning endeavoring to disprove the ransom doctrine. After studying Lev. 16, Russell came up with several new conclusions on the tabernacle. Before publishing the new ideas he called a conference with Paton and three others. Paton alone was unable to concur. Soon thereafter Paton began to alter his concept of the ransom doctrine. After 1881 June, Russell refused Paton’s articles altogether. Then Paton began his own publication, World’s Hope ca. 1882, and the split was complete. (It will be noted that although Paton’s view of the ransom varied from Russell’s, it was still different from Barbour’s.)

When we see that a sect has dubious teachings, but at the same time defends the Bible, we can be sure that this intention is a plaster and a screen to justify its own ways. But if we put them to the test, we will be able to "catch" them and show what they are really after> money, fame and success "I know your works, your toil and your patience, and that you cannot suffer the wicked; that you put to the test those who say they are apostles, and they are not, and you found them liars. Unfortunately the followers of Charles Taze Russell or the early Bible Students
has some “strange” believes.
"Strange" would be easy to say, if we think about who is behind the tours of false ideas>
But the Spirit clearly says that, in the last times, some will abandon the faith, to cling to deceiving spirits and the teachings of demons, (1 Tim. 4:1)
And the great dragon, the old serpent, called the devil and Satan, the one who deceives the whole world, was cast down to the earth; and his angels were cast down with him. (Rev. 12:9)

Quack Cures and Radionic
Ouija Boards
By Ken Raines
[From JW Research Journal, vol. 3, #2, Spring, 1996.
Updated August 27, 1999.]
In 1953, the Watchtower Society (Jehovah's Witnesses) ended their endorsement of the "electronic reactions of Abrams" or the E.R.A. They claimed that radionics, as it was now called, was medical quackery. In 1962 and 1963 they said the E.R.A. methods were psychic and spiritistic in nature. No mention was made in these articles that they had been heavily involved with this "spiritism" since the early 1920s.
Most of this the Jehovah's Witnesses were involved in. Radionics machines, colored lights to "cure" patients as they lay with their heads pointing northward, "uncanny powers" or spiritism, etc. I guess this made Bethel doctors such as Work and Howlett quacks who "were happy to separate sick people from their money." About lying with your head pointing north, The Golden Age suggested this for proper sleep. In a health article, The Golden Age in 1929 said:
Sleep on the right side or flat on your back, with the head toward the north so as to get the benefit of earth's magnetic currents.[17]
In Mae Work's 1930 Golden Age article on the E.R.A. in response to Roy Goodrich she said:
... the lines of magnetic force will go in the direction they prefer. It is for this reason that it is better to sleep with the head to the north, when that is possible.[18]
Conclusion
The Watchtower Society's leaders traditionally have not had any good, qualified training in the medical field. Their history well testifies to that fact. [19] Their endorsement of the "electronic reactions of Abrams" and its associated occult and psychic practices is just one example of this. They endorsed this for decades after it was deemed useless by scientific investigators and experts in the medical field.
The number of "doctors" in the Watchtower Society who used, promoted and even invented E.R.A. machines and techniques and the numerous high Watchtower officials treated with it indicates the depth of involvement of the Watchtower with the E.R.A. Here is a list of individuals associated with the Society that were involved with using the E.R.A. techniques and devices:
William Hudgings, a director of the Watchtower's People's Pulpit Association, had an E.R.A. clinic "a stones throw from Bethel" that JWs knew about and visited. He was associated with the "Radio Disease Killer" version of the oscilloclast. He wrote a book endorsing Dr. Abrams and the ERA called, Dr. Abrams and the Electron Theory in 1923(New York: New Century).
Dr. R.A. Gamble, a JW who was the chairman of the 1921 Bible Student (JW) convention invented the Electronic Radio Biola. The Golden Age magazine announced this in an a full length article, and even included an advertisement of the quack device so readers could order it to diagnose and cure their diseases at home.
Mae J. Work, a "Bethel" Osteopath, used Abrams' oscilloclast in the 1920s and 1930s to treat JWs of diseases including cancer. She gave lectures at E. R. A. conventions.
M.A. Howlett, a "Bethel" doctor of unknown medical philosophy, used the E.R.A. technique on "Bethelites" in the 1940s.
The JW "Sister," Mary LeCocq operated an E.R.A. clinic in Jonesboro, Arkansas in the 1920s. Much of her methods were clearly occultic in nature as documented by Goodrich. Many JWs, on the advice of Watchtower officials were treated by her. Dr. Albert Abrams himself was called to testify on her behalf of the efficacy of the E.R.A. in a mail fraud case involving LeCocq. He died the day before he was scheduled to testify. [20]
Dr. Rolin Jones, a personal physician to Judge Rutherford, Watchtower Society president had an E.R.A. clinic in Florida. Many high level Watchtower officials visited him for treatment, perhaps Rutherford himself. [21]
It took the Watchtower Society 40 years to reach the same conclusions about the E.R.A. Roy Goodrich made in a few hours. If both Goodrich and now the Society are right about the spiritistic or demonic nature of the E.R.A., the Watchtower Society's leaders were involved in medical spiritism for several decades, along with many of their followers.
This endorsement of quackery put the physical, and perhaps spiritual, health of many in jeopardy. Their uninformed opinions continue to put at risk the health and lives of millions. Their most recent medical position in this regard is their current ban on blood transfusions. Yet, they continue to condemn others for putting their follower's lives unnecessarily at risk. They say this makes them "bloodguilty" before God. The Watchtower Society has continually been guilty of the same thing throughout their history.
For example, how many JWs died trying to be cured of serious diseases by submitting to Watchtower authorized treatments with Gamble's Electronic Radio Biola? How many JWs were treated at Bethel for their cancer with Mae Work's oscilloclast? I seriously doubt the Radio Disease Killer actually "killed" any diseases. JWs may have died prematurely by relying on it. If so, perhaps it should have been called the Radio JW Killer.

8. This 1953 Awake! article was the first official Society rejection of the ERA in print. I do not know when JWs stopped using the ERA and associated devices. One well known ex-JW, professor M. James Penton, author of Apocalypse Delayed The Story of Jehovah's Witnesses, claimed to have been treated with the Electronic Radio Biola by another JW in the year 1949 (JW Research Journal, Winter, 1997, p. 29). After this and subsequent watchtower articles against the ERA and Radionics, one assumes most JWs forsoot such treatments. On the other hand, I have heard reports of JWs to this day seeking out "electronic" treatments (JW Research Journal, Jan.-June, 1999, pp. 35-36).

Does anyone guarantee that if you use God's Name in worship, you are his approved servant?
Take a look in this example from the ancient times:
Young's Literal Translation
Jeremiah's Message at the Temple Gate
1The word that hath been unto Jeremiah from Jehovah, saying, 2Stand in the gate of the house of Jehovah, and thou hast proclaimed there this word, and hast said, Hear a word of Jehovah, all ye of Judah, who are coming in at these gates, to bow before Jehovah: 3Thus said Jehovah of Hosts, God of Israel, Amend your ways, and your doings, And I cause you to dwell in this place. 4Do not trust for yourselves Unto the words of falsehood, saying, The temple of Jehovah, the temple of Jehovah, The temple of Jehovah [are] they!
The approval of God Almighty is only for that who are righteous! There are many proofs that the Bible Students movement was wrong from the beginnings. All of what I present is a proof why the Bible Students and JW’s was not the prophetic word of God:
1.Failed prediction about the second coming of Lord Jesus in 1874
2. Failed prediction about the End of the Christian harvest in 1874
3. A second failed prediction about the End of the Christian harvest in 1881
4. A failed prediction about the End of human rulership in 1914
5. A second failed prediction about the End of human rulership in 1918 1918, and other false new new terminus
6. A failed prediction about the time of resurrection of the patriarchs and prophets in 1925
7. A failed prediction about 1975, as the worldwide jubilee
“In 1966 the Watch Tower Society issued the first of what became a sequence of statements on the importance of a new date—1975—that raised the possibility of that year heralding the beginning of Christ's millennial reign and, along with it, doom for unbelievers,” .... aka who don't believe this "good news"....
"Since its formation in the 1870s, the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society has claimed that God has chosen the organization from among the churches to fill a special role in the consummation of prophetic history. Charles Taze Russell, a prolific writer and founder of the Bible Student movement, viewed himself as a "mouthpiece" of God and later as the embodiment of the "faithful and wise servant" of the parable of Matthew 24:45-47. The Watch Tower Society is now the legal and administrative arm of Jehovah's Witnesses. Its representatives assert that they have been given insight into the true meaning of the Bible and the unique ability to discern the signs of Christ's second coming. Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society publications have made a series of predictions about Christ's Second Coming and the advent of God's Kingdom, each of which has gone unfulfilled. Almost all the predictions for 1878, 1881, 1914, 1918 and 1925 were later reinterpreted as a confirmation of the eschatological framework of the Bible Student movement and Jehovah's Witnesses, with many of the predicted events viewed as having taken place invisibly. Further expectations were held for the arrival of Armageddon in 1975, but resulted in a later apology to members from the society's leadership." Wikipedia
If the Watchtower had not made these failed predictions,
but another group, demanding the same claims about itself (as if it were God's
communication channel on earth), what would the Watchtower have said?
Would he have accepted them being like that?
I do not believe.
And then why should we believe their claim?
No matter how well they argued in other respects, what they did disqualifies them.
No matter how excellent is the book review of Gerard Gertoux: Not a Nameless God - by George L Pullman, they are still false witnesses about God's plan.
"Name of God Y.eH.oW.aH Which is Pronounced as it is Written
I_Eh_oU_Ah" by Gérard Gertoux and a review by George L Pullman
"God's name is fundamental to all monotheistic religions. Paradoxically,
religions prefer to translate God's name as Yahweh "He Is," Adonay
"my Lord," Allah "The God," rather than a transcription of
the name, which is more usual. However, the key to unlock this mystery was
provided by the famous Maïmonides, 800 years ago, when he wrote that the Name
"is read as it is written." Name of God Y.eH.oW.aH Which is Pronounced
as it is Written I_Eh_oU_Ah is Gérard Gertoux's examination of the paradox of
the correct pronunciation. To learn more about this book, please visit the

5.0 out of 5 stars “Not a Nameless God” November 29, 2003
By George L Pullman
Format:Paperback
Plato taught that God has no name (Timaios 28b,c). Philo, the Gnostics, Justin
Martyr, and Clement of Alexandria likewise considered God nameless or unnameable.
However, Jerome, translator of the Latin Vulgate, wrote in his Prologus
Galeatus: "And we find the name of God, the Tetragram, in certain Greek
volumes even to this day expressed in ancient letters." Due to the fact
that these Hebrew letters were consonants, and there were originally no written
characters for the vowels, it is held that the pronunciation of God's name is
lost to us. Or it is thought God's name should be pronounced "Yahweh"
due to the weight attached to the evidence of the Egyptian Elephantine Papyri.
Gerard Gertoux in quite convincing fashion demonstrates the inaccuracy of these
concepts in the light of compelling linguistic and historical evidence. Gertoux
asks (p.114), "Was there really a prohibition on pronouncing the Tetragram
in the first century? The answer is no, as, according to the Talmud this
prohibition appeared from the middle of the second century." Gertoux
readily exposes a solidly entrenched factoid (p.3): "that Jehovah is a
barbarism originating from a wrong reading. As unbelievable as it may seem,
this last affirmation is known to be false among scholars. This crude error has
been denounced by Hebraists of all confessions, and with the support of the
Vatican's Congregation of propaganda, but without result." Worthwhile
reading, for as Gertoux quotes Maimonides, "it is impossible to have a
deep relationship with a nameless God."

The story of CT Russell's wrong view about the gentile times and the great tribulation
Chares Taze Russell's
wrong view about the gentile times and the great tribulation
If you still need proof that former Adventist pastor CT
Russell is wrong and that all his predicted dates are unbiblical
"Luke 21:24 (KJV) - And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and
shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down
of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
If you read carefully the collected text you will see that behind Russell's
attempt to cling to a wrong explanation of the text, he is selling the
Adventist and pre-Adventist environment, who have opened a long list with their
speculations about the Time of the End.
It is obvious that these explanations were referring to the Bible, but they did not come from the biblical truth, but from the distortions of the Bible text and that is why they remained at the stage of speculation every time, and with every failed attempt, their authors did not learn anything, so they were condemned by the Devil, who made fun of them, to repeat them. All this are from well documented pages on the internet.
The original calculations were mostly based on dates from John Aquila Brown,
who in 1823 published The Even-Tide in which he claimed that the "seven
times" of Daniel 4 were a period of 2520 years running from the beginning
of Nebuchadnezzar’s reign in 604 B.C.E. to 1917 C.E. While Brown never equated
the 2520 years with the "Gentile Times," other writers soon did.
Eventually the Adventist Nelson H. Barbour picked up the torch and put the
finishing touches on what became Charles Taze Russell’s (the founder of the
Watchtower) chronology. Barbour published his final calculation of the Gentile
Times in the September, 1875 issue of his monthly paper Herald of the Morning,
starting them in 606 B.C.E. and ending them in 1914 C.E. In January, 1876
Russell read Barbour’s paper, got together with him, and apparently accepted
all of Barbour’s time calculations, even becoming a co-editor of Barbour’s
paper. These calculations included one that said Christ’s presence began in
1874 and the "day of the Lord" began in 1873. Shortly thereafter,
Russell published a similar calculation in the October, 1876 issue of a
publication called The Bible Examiner. This paper was published by George
Storrs, who was generally influential on Russell and had been a major leader in
William Miller’s movement. Storrs was active in Adventist related movements when
Russell began publishing. In The Bible Examiner Russell said, on pp. 27-28,
concerning his belief that the Gentile Times were a period of 2520 years:
At the commencement of our Christian era, 606 years of this time had passed,
(70 years captivity, and 536 from Cyrus to Christ) which deducted from 2520,
would show that the seven times will end in A.D. 1914.... We will ask, but not
now answer, another question: If the Gentile Times end in 1914, (and there are
many other and clearer evidences pointing to the same time) and we are told
that it shall be with fury poured out; a time of trouble such as never was
before, nor ever shall be; a day of wrath, etc.
Russell wrote in the December 1 Watchtower of 1912:
Many of our readers will recall our reference to this subject in a sermon
preached at Allegheny, Pa., January 11, 1904, and published in the Pittsburgh
Gazette. We make an extract from that sermon as follows:
We find, then, that the Seven Times of Israel’s punishment and the Seven Times
of Gentile dominion are the same; and that they began with the captivity of
Zedekiah, and, as will be seen from the Chart, they terminate with the year
1915. According to the best obtainable evidences on the subject, synchronized
with the Scriptural testimony, Zedekiah’s captivity took place in October, 605
1/4 years before A.D. 1. If we will add to this 1914 1/4 years, we will have
the year, October, 1915, as the date for the end of Gentile supremacy in the
world — the end of the lease of 2,520 years, which will not be renewed.
Instead, he whose right the kingdom is, shall take possession of it. This,
therefore, marks when the Lord himself shall assume control of the world’s
affairs, to end its reign of sin and death, and to bring in the True Light.
There surely is room for slight differences of opinion on this subject and it
behoves us to grant each other the widest latitude. The lease of power to the
Gentiles may end in October, 1914, or in October, 1915. And the period of
intense strife and anarchy "such as never was since there was a
nation" may be the final ending of the Gentile Times or the beginning of
Messiah’s reign.
Later, the 4th President Franz, during the presidency of the 3rd president
Nathan Knorr, corrected the start date to 607Tishri, he proposed that the period
started with the assassination of Gedaliah in Jeremiah 41."
"The History of mankind's understanding of the Gentile Times
1823 Rev John Brown realises that the period is 2520 years long and believes it started in 604BC at the accession of Nebuchadnezzar. He correctly calculates that the 2520 years would end in 1917AD if they started in 604BC.
1875 Barbour
calculates that the 2520 years start in 606, this being 70 years before 536
when the Jews rebuilt the altar he thought. He miscalculates that the 2520
years end in 1914, he was one year out. He forgot that there was no 0 BC, it
went 1 BC then 1 AD !
1876 Russell publishes the same in his Bible Examiner
1904 Russell realises that he may be one year out and the Gentile Times might
actually end in October 1915
1914 Gentile Times ends (Russell thought on Tishri10, but actually on Tishri15)
1943 Franz adjusts the start date to 607Tishri in the book: 'The truth shall
set you free'. The date for the rebuilding of the altar by Zerubbabel, 70
years after 607Tishri is now 537Tishri, a correct date. But the date for the
burning of Jerusalem by Nebuchanezzar of 607 is wrong. And the start of the
Gentile Times being the assassination of Gedaliah is also wrong.
1988 Ed Schnopp, collates overwhelming evidence that 604 was the 1st regnal
year of Nebuchadnezzar and therefore Jerusalem was burned in 586 BC. John
Brown knew this in 1823, he had the first year of Nebuchadnezzar as 604 !! Ed
shows that there are two 70 year exiles, one for Israel and one for Judah. Israel's
exile ends in 539Tishri at the fall of Babylon and starts he thought in 609
with the Babylonian conquest of Nineveh or the fall of Assyria to
Babylon."
It is clear that pastor Russell’s view about 1914 comes from an Adventist imagination:
When God don’t want to shut the door in 1843 and 1844, they started other speculations about a 2520 time in years, connected to 1914.
It is clear that the 2520 year theory is from the Adventist movement of William Miller, not from God.
The period of 2520 years of Gentile Times is not from God, but only from a speculator named Joshua Spalding, from whom William Miller fished it.
Who were the first associated of pastor Charles Taze Russell? The Adventists’.
So the speculator Adventist linked origin of Bible Students & Jehovah's Witnesses is clear in history.
Charles Taze Russell early view about the Adventist Nelson H. Barbour as "the chosen vessel of God"clearly shows the great influence that the Adventists played in Pastor Russell's life, he also being an Adventist pastor at that time. Later in time, the Adventist pastor Charles Taze Russell generated a new split of the Second Adventists and made the appearance of the so called “International Bible Student” movement.
A wise proverb said> Tell me who you are with, so I can tell you who you are. Russell was and remains an Adventist speculator until his death. This truth is difficult for his followers to digest.
This is dangerous, because all the speculations that are not based on the biblical basis, come from the Devil, who only changes his hair, but not the disposition to deceive.
“Be
awake and watchful! Because
your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion looking for
someone to devour.” (1Pet.5:8)
From Bible Student’s splinter groups: Free Bible Students
There are many groups separated from the movement initiated by the former Adventist pastor, Charles Taze Russell. Some have corrected certain wrong teachings of the cult, especially related to the expectations based on certain predictions about the End Times, but they have not given up certain unbiblical beliefs. For example, that all people will enter the Kingdom of God and only there will they be judged as good or bad. One such group or movement having the gospel distorted was known as the Free Bible Students.
The Bible is clear:
“Because we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one will receive his reward according to the good or evil he will have done while living in the body.” (2Cor.5:10)
What will be the reward of those who did not believe?
2 Thessalonians 1:6-12
6 God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you 7 and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. 8 He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might 10 on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you.
11 With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith. 12 We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
And now think what those people will do, who hear a distorted gospel, that they will be in the kingdom of God anyway, regardless of whether they are doing good or bad now, and that the way is still open and they will have time to repent there, after the arrival of lord Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus did not preach such a thing and neither did his apostles.
It is no wonder why their activity is slow and without notable results and would simply disappear as a group, if their activity were not sprinkled with charitable acts, which also moves certain people to join them.
I invite you to read the mission report from the Acts of the Apostles and then compare it with the mission report of the Free Bible Students.
Free Bible Students Trip Report
(Some years ago...)
“At the invitation of the Free Bible Students in various parts of R., J & P
K and I made a trip there leaving on Sept. 8 and returning on the 28th. A van
from the orphanage took us and J G (who knows some English and whom F and B C
are sponsoring for nursing school) to B, arriving after midnight. I was
delighted to meet C P for the first time.
The next morning we went to breakfast and met many of the orphans. They are
wonderful children who crave affection. Many just touched us and smiled as they
passed by. I interpreted this as a sort of welcome from them. The financial
situation at the orphanage was not good. I later found out that they owed
$20,000 to creditors and it takes $15,000 a month to operate. The children had
only bread and jam and watered-down juice for breakfast. Even so, they seemed
contented. Later we went to a food co-op and C and V (who runs the orphanage)
bought some food staples to give to some of the poor families in the area. How
appreciative they were to receive so little. One family lived in a dirt floor
one room house that formerly housed seven people. The husband had died, three
of the children were taken into the orphanage, and the mother was out in the
fields working for food for herself and the two remaining children. We left the
food with the two children.
That evening the children assembled in the church on the orphanage property and
sang us many songs. They sounded like little angels. Afterwards J, P and I
handed out packages sent there by many brethren in the US to all the children.
Most all the contents were school related. How appreciative they all were to
get so little. They gave us hugs as they received their package. M, whom J and
I sponsor, had always wanted a flute. Through the generosity of T E of the
Berean Bible Student Church of C, IL, we were able to present her with one that
evening. She looked down at it, then back to me, then back to it again as if it
were a dream. She started to get tears in her eyes. Quite an emotional time for
both of us.
The next morning we attended a three hour service in the church. Women sat on
the left and men on the right. There were spontaneous prayers from the
congregation, hymn singing, and short sermons given by any who wished to share.
J and I were invited to share which we did with M G interpreting. After lunch
we and all the children gathered on the steps of the church for pictures. They
also sang to us again.
We stayed with the V G family for a week enjoying their wonderful hospitality.
While there we had many Bible discussions with the brethren of that group as
well as with two others from another group that showed up. A thirst for a
deeper understanding of the Lord's word was ever present.
During the week we studied many things. One was the need to be organized as a
church group with responsible leadership as outlined in the Bible. After much
discussion this group decided to do this, taking the name of Fellowship of
Christian Love in C). Their first elder was to be Br. R B. During this week Br.
V drove us to visit with Br. L P and his family in B M. Br. M V, a doctor from
the village of B joined us for Bible discussions. These two brothers drove us
to see Sr. L D and her family in S M near the R border. J, P, and I had known L
when she lived in the US. It was good to see her again and to meet her husband
and beautiful little daughter.
The next morning we were picked up by Br. B C who took us to his home in AI. He
and their three children spoke English fairly well. We had some Bible
discussions and afterward the children sang us some songs. They taught J a R
hymn and he is turn taught them an English one which had a tricky melody which
they loved. He played their guitar while they sung it over and over and over.
We enjoyed our visit with them but it was all too short.
The second week we moved over to G M's home in C. Immediately we entered into
more studies with about six of their brethren. We walked in the nearby woods
while the brethren sang hymns accompanied by the accordion. At a high point
with a panoramic view of valleys and hills, we sat down and studied some more.
Another day we picnicked near a dam and had more studies and sang more hymns
again with the accompaniment of the accordion that Br. G played. We had some
very intense studies while we were there. C, Br. G's daughter did much of the
interpreting for us. At times N B came and took over. She is a music student at
a local university. We discussed the topics of Christian liberty and unity and
other topics during the week.
We were invited to dinner at the house of E R, Br. G and Sr. L's other
daughter, and also to I and M R' homes. We sang hymns after the meals. R love
to sing and they do it with all their hearts. On another day we revisited The P's
home, studied some more, and had dinner at Br. M's home. The next morning we
saw the family sawmill business, had a picnic lunch and headed for St. George
where we answered questions in the evening, stayed overnight and had Sunday
services the following morning. About 55 brethren were present including many
from the Divine Plan group. J gave a sermon on living our faith and walking in
integrity. I also spoke on the plan of God and centered on the importance of
agape (love) being more important than knowledge. Of course many hymns were
sung.
The flights home were uneventful and we were all very happy to be home once
again with our families. Though tired, we felt that God had richly blessed us
and the brethren that we had met.
Other observations:
-The R countryside, hills and mountains are spectacular to behold.
-Encountered cows and sheep driven down the main streets of some villages.
-Pollution in the cities is very bad and went unregulated until just recently.
-Young people in cities are dress quite fashionably on a whole.
-Horse drawn wagons are frequently seen on city streets. Hay is cut by hand
with a scythe or sickle.
-Whole families with hoes on their shoulders are seen walking to and from their fields.
-Cows and horses are fed anywhere there is grass, even on the sides of highways. Men and women watch over them.
-The C area was once villages which were destroyed and replaced with huge apartment complexes by the Communists.
-The country's
economy is so bad and unemployment so high that many city people wish they were
still under Communism for then they had no worries.
-In many cases both the husband and wife work to make ends meet, many work 12
hours a day, 5 days a week.
-It was said that the
average wage for workers is $60.00 a month.
-One dollar is about 15,000 R l. Ex. - A small bottle of water sells for 4500
to 5000 lei. Gasoline price per gallon was around $3.50.

From JW's Splinter groups The Goshen Fellowship (1951 - Present)
Among JW's Splinter groups The Goshen Fellowship (1951 – Present?) have a very interesting story.
There has been much confusion and speculation about the End Times. The Lord Jesus told us clearly, what will be the visible signs of entering this chapter of history in Matthew 24: About The Coming of the Son of Man. What sane man could say that these have already been fulfilled? Only those deceived and lost by Satan the Devil.
Matthew 24:29 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days pthe sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and qthe stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And whe will send out his angels with a loud xtrumpet call, and they will ygather zhis elect from athe four winds, bfrom one end of heaven to the other.
From the internet we find:
The Goshen Fellowship was formed as a result of the ministry of Jesse Hemery.
He was undoubtedly the most prominent Bible Student/Jehovah's Witness in England, serving as Vice President of the IBSA, a position he held until 1946 since his appointment by Pastor Russell in 1901. He then was disfellowshipped by N. H. Knorr in 1951. Although he accepted much of Russell's interpretations, he did reject the second presence as being a current reality. Believing the book of Revelation was to be fulfilled in the future, he wrote a few commentaries on Revelation and other books of prophecy. He died in 1963 at the age of 99, a few year after founding the "Goshen Fellowship" in 1951. Frank Lewis Brown headed the group for many years, publishing Zion's Herald, a monthly journal beginning in 1965.
A book based upon the writings of Jesse Hemery but with additional comments titled a Bible Study Investigation into our relationship to God and into ‘The Time of the End’.

According to a Great Brittain source the movement now is defunct (Trevor Pope).
I think this group have two good points in common with the "Back to the
Bible way" movement, lead by Roy D Goodrich:
1. They reject the second coming and presence of Lord Jesus as being a current
reality, saying
that his coming has not yet happened, but will be in the future
2. Believing that the events from the book of Revelation will be fulfilled in the future

3. A Bible Study Investigation Into Our Relationship to God and Into "The
Time of the End"
Following intensive study Jesse Hemery produced his first book in December 1951 entitled Revelation Unfolded.
It was printed privately accompanied by a booklet entitled Christ's Great Prophecy of the Coming Events.
Author: Jesse Hemery, Trevor Pope notes
Editor: Xlibris Corporation
Here is the Foreword, with kind permision of brother Pope
FOREWORD
In these disturbing times a popular Christian opinion is that we are in “the
time of the end” spoken of in the Bible, when the second coming of Christ is
imminent. Some even assert that His appearance could occur almost any day now.
This publication is a form of Bible study which investigates what the scriptures
record about “the time of the end.” Most importantly it examines what Jesus
said to His disciples when they asked Him what visible evidence would there be
to indicate the time of His return.
The following material is based upon the writings of Jesse Hemery, one of the
most highly respected Bible students of his generation. He was born in 1864 and
died in 1963 aged ninety-nine. For many years he served in London, England as
the first president of the International Bible Students Association. Inevitably
he was familiar with the various Bible student movements that had emerged in
the nineteenth century, mainly in America. A dominant characteristic was the
emphasis they placed on chronology to forecast the year of the return of Jesus
Christ. In earlier centuries individuals had speculated along similar lines,
but the nineteenth century seems to have produced more attempts than any other
to link chronology to Bible prophecy.
Early in that century William Miller a Baptist preacher founded The Adventists.
He aroused great attention preaching that Jesus Christ would return to earth in
1843, but later changed the year to 1844. He derived this date by applying
chronology to his interpretation of one of Daniel’s prophecies in the Bible.
When the expected advent did not materialise, proving his calculations to have
been wrong, his preaching was described as “the Great Disappointment.” Miller
died five years later aged sixty-seven.
Undaunted by Miller’s failure a Mr Nelson Barbour, describing himself as a Second
Adventist, began publishing in 1869 a magazine called The Midnight Cry.
He had been a follower of William Miller, and an enthusiast for his chronology;
so much so that he used the same formula as that of Miller. Barbour argued that
Miller’s chronology was based on a historical event that occurred 30 years
later than Miller had thought. So he convinced himself and many others that the
Lord’s visible return would be in 1874.
When this proved not to be the case Barbour, still convinced his chronology was
accurate, asserted Christ had indeed returned but was invisibly present in the
lower heavens. Accordingly he changed the name of his magazine to Herald of The
Morning. Other Bible students, among them a Pastor C.T. Russell, had also
concluded the Lord’s return would begin with an invisible presence. So, many
thousands of them adopted Barbour’s chronology with its 1874 date and believed
that Christ had returned.
Years later in 1922 J.F. Rutherford, the new president of Russell’s Watchtower
Society, claimed yet another date for Christ‘s return, based on chronology. He
announced that 1914 had been the year of the Lord’s invisible arrival.
Rutherford’s rejection of the 1874 date in which he had previously
believed was based on time periods and incidents in the scriptures different
from those used by Miller and Barbour.
These Second Advent preachers of the past with their conflicting opinions on
chronology held one interpretation principle on which they were all agreed; and
which is still accepted by many in the present day. It is known as “the year
for a day principle,” and consists of rejecting the literal definition of the
prophetic “days” forecast by angels in the books of Daniel and Revelation. It
insists these prophetic days are not real days, but are symbolic of years.
Otherwise stated it is claimed that a day in these prophecies represents
a year in their fulfilment. There is absolutely no scriptural authority for
applying this theory to prophecies that are said to relate to “the time of the
end.” The improper use of chronology and its interpretation has caused much
confusion, even unintended deception for many years.
The legacy of these nineteenth century adventist beliefs has permeated Bible
student thinking through the twentieth and into the twenty-first century. It
lead to the abiding belief that the return of the Lord is imminent, and in the
minds of many that He has already returned invisibly. Therefore the great
prophecies of the time of the end in the books of Daniel and Revelation which
focus on specific and unusual events that must occur before the Lord returns
are often considered as being either symbolic or as having been fulfilled; and
are therefore of little relevance to the present.
During the 1940s Jesse Hemery, ever an ardent student of the scriptures,
focussed his attention on Bible prophecies relating to the second coming of
Christ, while rejecting the use of chronology for that purpose. He
observed that Jesus himself when asked about the time of His return made no
reference to chronology, declaring that God, His Father, was the only one who
knows the date. Instead Jesus spoke of definite events that would indicate the
imminence of His return and quoted events from the prophet Daniel in
particular. So Hemery’s writings are free from the bewildering use of
chronological interpretation which caused such confusion both past and present.
Following intensive study Jesse Hemery produced his first book in December 1951
entitled Revelation Unfolded, accompanied by a booklet entitled Christ’s Great
Prophecy of the Coming Events. During the first half of the 1950s he produced
other literature, notable among which were the books Daniel Unfolded and The
Second Coming of Christ.
The reality of what Bible prophecies predict for “the time of the end” is
startling to many Christians studying them for the first time. Some believers
accustomed to the popular teaching that undesirable events preceding our Lord’s
return were fulfilled years ago are comfortable with that tradition. As such
they are less inclined to re-examine for themselves the questionable evidence
used to support it. One should remember, when discussing these future events,
Jesus warned constantly of the risk of being deceived and said, ”What I say
unto you I say unto all, Watch” (Mark 13:37).
The editor and compiler of these study notes on the writings of Jesse Hemery
also held the opinion originally that much of these prophecies had already been
fulfilled. Having re-examined the evidence has led to the overwhelming
conviction that their fulfilment is not past, but is in the near future. To be
prepared, and to help others to be prepared, every Christian believer needs to
know there is a crisis of faith still to come that will immediately precede the
Lord’s coming for His Church.
Most of what follows herein is expressed in the words of Jesse Hemery and found
to be as relevant today (in 2006) as when he spoke and wrote many years ago.
His writings have been edited with additional notes and explanation by
Trevor Pope. It is not the purpose of this study to prove the authenticity of
the scriptures, for these notes are written to assist Christians who have
already accepted the Bible as the word of God. Nevertheless the consistency of
these end-time visions, conveyed by angels over a period of some six hundred
years, is a testimony in itself to the authenticity of scripture. It would be
well for anyone whose expectations are even remotely derived from chronology to
verify in detail for themselves whether or not the dramatic Bible prophecies
studied here have in fact actually been fulfilled.
“Prove all things; hold fast that which is good” (1 Thess. 5:21).

According to Roy Goodrich Jesse H. claims that he was the faithful servant. But
I don't know if this was just an information about JH or a even Roy himself
hold this view.
Dialogue about 1914 doctrine, for helping Bible Students and Jehovah’s Witnesses and their splinter groups about this insane doctrine
First of all, they need to understand this steps
- The 2520 years theory is from the Adventist preacher William Miller, not from God
- He took this doctrine of the 2520 years as the Gentile Times not from God, but from Joshua Spalding
- Who were the first associated of the ex-Adventist pastor Charles Taze Russell? Of course, the Adventists. So he took this doctrine of the 2520 years from the Adventists.
- The Adventist linked origin of Bible Students & Jehovah's Witnesses is clear in history
- Charles Taze Russell early view about Nelson H. Barbour as "the chosen vessel of God" was wrong
- A new split of the Second Adventists and the appearance of the Bible Student movement was started by Russell
- From A.P. Pottle,
"The Power of the Mind," fromThe Golden Age we could see the that
this movement was dilettantish in many areas
- Good and clean doctrines are not a guarantee that everything is ok, for
example Gerard Gertoux book's excellent review: Not a Nameless God - by George
L Pullman
- The scribes and Pharisees had many good teachings, yet they were not ok> So all the things that they tell you to observe, observe them and do them; but according to their deeds do not do. Because they say, but they don't do. (Matt. 23:3) This could be true again with the Bible Students and Jehovah’s Witnesses groups also
- CT Russell's wrong view about the gentile times and the great tribulation is clear if we agree with Lord Jesus:
Matthew 24:26. So if they say to you: "Here he is in the wilderness", do not go there! "Behold Him in hidden chambers," do not believe. 27. For as the lightning comes from the east and is seen to the west, so will the coming of the Son of man be. 28. Wherever there is a flock, there the eagles will gather. 29. Immediately after those days of trouble "the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give her light, the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken." 30. Then the sign of the Son of man will appear in the sky, all the tribes of the earth will mourn and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31. He will send His angels with a sounding trumpet, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
- Compare Bible Students and JW's or their Splinter groups reports with the report from Acts of the Apostles, you will see a big difference
- a great dialogue and understanding of the truth comes from the pages of the Bible, if you are sincere about 1914 doctrine
I am pleased to invite you (Bible Students, JW's or their splinters) on a
dialogue about in which we will discuss the year 1914, and the doctrine about
that year, if this is Biblical, or not.
Why God's people need a final reformation (revival)?
What is "reformation"?
A. Personal reformation
God want to reform
not only the false teachings, but also the person.
"Reformation" is a kind of "review" of our personal mind,
heart and life "stile", to understand if this "stile" is in
harmony with the beautiful and righteous will of Almighty God. Reformation is
first of all, the self review, through God's holy word, through his holy
spirit, through true repentance, before our heavenly God and Father, in the
holy name of his Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
"And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by
the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and
perfect will of God." Romans 12:2 ASV
"But the end of the charge is love out of a pure heart and a good
conscience and faith unfeigned:" 1Timothy 1:5 ASV
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness, meekness, self-control; against such there is no
law." Galatians 5:22,23 ASV
B. Full harmony of our teachings with
the Gospel
"The last reformation" is the last review of what we believe, and correct our understanding to be in the harmony of the Gospel.
And He said to the Jews who had believed in Him: "If you remain in My Word, you are truly My disciples; you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." (John 8:31,32)
„I am the Vine, you are the shoots. He who abides in Me and in whom I abide
bears much fruit; for separated from Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5)
"Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, who took
their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were
foolish, and five were wise. For the foolish, when they took their lamps, took
no oil with them: but the wise took oil in their vessels with their
lamps." Matthew 25:1-4
"And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come forth, my people, out
of her, that ye have no fellowship with her sins, and that ye receive not of
her plagues: for her sins have reached even unto heaven, and God hath
remembered her iniquities." Revelation 18:4,5 ASV.
C. A true
(real) reform without struggles for influence, power and other things in the
Christian congregation (Assembly, Church)
"Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you." (Ephesus 4:32)
Exhort to "brotherly aid" (1 Thessalonians 5:14-15)
“Now we exhort you, brethren, warn those who are unruly, comfort the
fainthearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all.
See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all. (1Th 5:14-15)”
God's people need a last reformation or final reformation (aka restoration, or revival) as long time was predicted:
Then I heard another voice from heaven, which said: "Come out of her midst, my people, so that you do not share in her sins and that you are not struck with her plagues! (Rev. 18:4)
If you see the context this is before the plagues! I have
heard opinions in some cults that if something is wrong with them, then God
will correct them in his kingdom. That's why they don't want to move even one comma from their wrong
assumptions. They are based
on some wrong assumptions that come from some biblical texts that have been
misunderstood, that is, distorted. But this text clearly says, whether they like it or not, that
whoever does not get out of the errors - before the apocalyptic plagues - will
have them. Something
extremely serious! So we
must not play with fire.
To start a mission for a final and last reformation in the Kingdom of God is ridiculous. The mission for this initiative it is set for the time before the coming of the Lord Jesus. No one will enter the kingdom of God who will not come out of the errors of Babylon.
First: We must restore the truth about God, without the errors of the Unitarians, Bible Students, or Jehovah's Witnesses, and bear witness to the heavenly Father, Jehovah God Almighty, and to His only Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior, if we are to bear witness the truth about how unbiblical the doctrine of the Trinity is. And that's without human error. There is God, the Father Almighty. This is the SUPREME TRUTH OF THE BIBLE: John 17:1-3.
- The snowball doctrine of Trinity is based of altered Bible verses against the Father Almighty
1John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God came and gave us understanding to know the True One. And we are in the True One, THROUGH His Son, Jesus Christ. He (that is, the one true God, the Father) is the true God and eternal life. (See John 17:3)
- He is "Yehowah": God's holy name is not „the Lord”
Second: All people who want to be true and living witnesses of God and of His
Son, as the first Christians was, must know and must preach this: repentance
toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
"serving the Lord with all lowliness of mind, and with tears, and with
trials which befell me by the plots of the Jews; how I shrank not from
declaring unto you anything that was profitable, and teaching you publicly, and
from house to house, testifying both to Jews and to Greeks repentance toward
God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ." ASV Acts 20:19-21
This is more than clear why we must do this: Then I heard another voice from
heaven say: "Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her
sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues; Revelation 18:4.
Third: Another important truth is the mortality of man, and the importance of
the resurrection. All who believe that only the body die are false witnesses:
1Corinthians 15:12-16 ASV.
This is the Satan’s big lie (Genesis 3:4).
"Now if Christ is preached that he hath been raised from the dead, how say
some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there is no
resurrection of the dead, neither hath Christ been raised: and if Christ hath
not been raised, then is our preaching vain, your faith also is vain. Yea, we
are found false witnesses of God; because we witnessed of God that he raised up
Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead are not raised. For if
the dead are not raised, neither hath Christ been raised:"
The story of The rich man and the beggar Lazarus: A fake, a literal history or a parable? This is a fake in the light of the whole Bible, added to the Bible, after the death of the holy apostles....
May our Father Almighty, Jehovah God help us, through His Son, our Lord Jesus.
If you want to be a true Bible believer, a true witness for Almighty God, Jehovah and Lord Jesus Christ
Who is a true Bible believer?
How can this status be obtained?
To achieve this high goal, you must first believe in the Bible as the Holy Scripture appointed by God as a bright guide in this world full of spiritual darkness:
Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp for my feet,
a light on my path.
Revelation 1:3
Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy,
and blessed are those who hear it
and take to heart what is written in it,
because the time is near.
The Bible should not be used to justify your opinions in matters of faith, but to form opinions based on God's declaration.
Do not add anything to His words, so that He does not punish you and you are found to be a liar. - (Prov. 30:6)
To be able to become a true believer of what is written in the Bible, you must be willing to learn and correct yourself.
I have spoken once, and I will not answer again; twice, and I will add nothing more." (Job. 40:5)
Who is a true witness for Almighty God, Jehovah and Lord Jesus Christ?
How can this status be obtained?
If your desire is to be a true Bible believers, and a true witness for Almighty
God, Jehovah (American Standard Version - YHWH in Hebrew), and a true witness
for His only begotten heavenly Son, Lord Jesus Christ, you
must dedicate your whole life to their service and obey with all our
heart. You must want to be free in the truth, "free" in Biblical
sense, free from the Devils' errors, strong in faith in God and His Son, in the
Bible and it's message, true in true love and honest in the holy repentance.
Isaiah 43:10 ""You are my witnesses," declares Jehovah,
"and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me
and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one
after me." God is not a Trinity. He is the Father Almighty only.
We cannot serve Jesus with a mixture of truth and lies:
1Corinthians 15:15 "Moreover we are even found to be false witnesses of God, because we testified against God that He raised Christ, whom He did not raise, if in fact the dead are not raised."
We must follow the example of others, we cannot separate ourselves from what others believed about God and Jesus:
Hebrews 12:1 "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,"
The Lord Jesus did not change the worship to another God, nor to a trinity, nor
to himself. He had only one God, whom he worshiped and obeyed: the God of the
true Jews, like Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Moses, David and Elijah, Isaiah,
Jeremiah and Daniel.
Revelation 3:14 "And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These
things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the
creation of God:"
Lord Jesus and the first Christians of the first century did
not see in the spirit of God a third divine person from heaven:
Acts 1:8 "but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth."
True faith cannot be abandoned in times of hardship:
Revelation 2:13 "I know where thou dwellest, even where Satan's throne is; and thou holdest fast my name, and didst not deny my faith, even in the days of Antipas my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwelleth."
What is a true fellowship?
A true fellowship is when all those present seek to do God's will, through the teaching of our Lord Jesus. A true participation does not make the church a club, neither charitable nor of any other nature. A true fellowship must make the church the House of God, a holy place.
Therefore, you are no longer strangers or guests of the house, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, people of God's house, (Eph. 2:19)
And you, like living stones, are built to be a spiritual house, a holy priesthood and to offer spiritual sacrifices, pleasing to God, through Jesus Christ. (1Pet.2:5)
A true fellowship is created by God for a true mission in holiness: to serve
His will about repentance toward God and
faith toward His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, in this the world, for salvation
of people, as many as possible.
A second mission of a true fellowship is to preserve the faith as it is in the Holy Scriptures and to defend it
But, if I will linger, know how you must behave in the House of God, which is the Church of the Living God, the Pillar and Foundation of truth. (1Tim.3:15)
But whoever hears, and does not do, is like a man who built a house on the ground, without a foundation. And the flood rushed upon her, she collapsed at once, and the collapse of this house was great." (Luke 6:49)
Because no one can lay another foundation than the one that was laid and that is Jesus Christ. (1Cor.3:11)
And if someone builds on this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, reeds, (1Cor.3:12)
so that he can gather for the future, as a treasure, a good foundation, so that he can grasp the real life. (1Tim.6:19)
The foundations of the fortress wall were adorned with precious stones of all kinds: the first foundation was of jasper; the second, of sapphire; the third, of chalcedony; the fourth, of emerald; (Rev. 21:19)
The Apostle Paul struggled hard with all the false teachings that crept into
the Church.
Compare with 1Corinthians 15:12-16 ASV:
"Now if Christ is preached that he hath been raised from the dead, how say
some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there is no
resurrection of the dead, neither hath Christ been raised: and if Christ hath
not been raised, then is our preaching vain, your faith also is vain. Yea, we
are found false witnesses of God; because we witnessed of God that he raised up
Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead are not raised. For if
the dead are not raised, neither hath Christ been raised:"
The very difficult but beautiful purpose of the fellowship of the Church of the End Time must be to restore the holy truth and, as true and living witnesses of God, Jehovah Almighty and of His Son, Jesus Christ, bring Christians back to the doctrine of the first century. Then the Lord Jesus will come and the wise virgins will enter the Kingdom of His God. The others will be refused, this is why it is important to understand this capital aspect of the times to come, otherwise we will receive the following sentence:
But he, as an answer, said to them: "I tell you the truth, I do not know you!" (Matt. 25:12)
God calls us to shine
TO SHINE it is an intellectual brilliance, of a spiritual nature:
„The wise will shine like the brightness of the sky, and those who will teach many to walk in righteousness will shine like the stars, forever and ever.” (Daniel 12:3)
The method by which we can reach this state of intellectual brilliance is clearly shown in the Book of Proverbs, chapter 4.
Wisdom plays a prominent role in this epic of faith, precisely because persevering in the Word of God, that is, meditating on what is written, ennobles man with wisdom.
1 Listen, my sons, to a father’s instruction;
pay attention and gain understanding.
2 I give you sound learning,
so do not forsake my teaching.
3 For I too was a son to my father,
still tender, and cherished by my mother.
King David taught his son Solomon as follows:
4 Then he taught me, and he said to me,
“Take hold of my words with all your heart;
keep my commands, and you will live.
5 Get wisdom, get understanding;
do not forget my words or turn away from them.
6 Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you;
love her, and she will watch over you.
7 The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom.
Though it cost all you have, get understanding.
8 Cherish her, and she will exalt you;
embrace her, and she will honor you.
9 She will give you a garland to grace your head
and present you with a glorious crown.”
The process of growing in wisdom is compared to the increasing brightness of the sun during the day. This shows that man can acquire it gradually, throughout his life, if he remains consistent in the study of the Holy Scriptures. We will always have something to learn, so always seek to study the Word of God, as long as we live.
Proverbs 4
18 The path of the righteous is like the morning sun,
shining ever brighter till the full light of day.
19 But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness;
they do not know what makes them stumble.
20 My son, pay attention to what I say;
turn your ear to my words.
21 Do not let them out of your sight,
keep them within your heart;
22 for they are life to those who find them
and health to one’s whole body.
23 Above all else, guard your heart,
for everything you do flows from it.
24 Keep your mouth free of perversity;
keep corrupt talk far from your lips.
25 Let your eyes look straight ahead;
fix your gaze directly before you.
26 Give careful thought to the[c] paths for your feet
and be steadfast in all your ways.
27 Do not turn to the right or the left;
keep your foot from evil.
The study process of the word of God will make us wiser and show us the areas
in which we need change, where we are the "poorest" in our spirituality,
as the Son of God told us.
Matthew 5:3
ICB
“Those people who know they have great spiritual needs are happy. The kingdom of heaven belongs to them.
EXB
“·They are blessed [or Blessed are those…; C and so through v. 10] who ·realize their spiritual poverty [L are the poor in spirit], for the kingdom of heaven ·belongs to them [is theirs].
AMP
“Blessed [spiritually prosperous, happy, to be admired] are the poor in spirit [those devoid of spiritual arrogance, those who regard themselves as insignificant], for theirs is the kingdom of heaven [both now and forever].
AMPC
Blessed (happy, to be envied, and spiritually prosperous—with life-joy and satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation, regardless of their outward conditions) are the poor in spirit (the humble, who rate themselves insignificant), for theirs is the kingdom of heaven!
PHILLIPS
Then he began his teaching by saying to them, “How happy are the humble-minded, for the kingdom of Heaven is theirs! “How happy are those who know what sorrow means for they will be given courage and comfort! “Happy are those who claim nothing, for the whole earth will belong to them! “Happy are those who are hungry and thirsty for goodness, for they will be fully satisfied! “Happy are the merciful, for they will have mercy shown to them! “Happy are the utterly sincere, for they will see God! “Happy are those who make peace, for they will be sons of God! “Happy are those who have suffered persecution for the cause of goodness, for the kingdom of Heaven is theirs! “And what happiness will be yours when people blame you and ill-treat you and say all kinds of slanderous things against you for my sake! Be glad then, yes, be tremendously glad—for your reward in Heaven is magnificent. They persecuted the prophets before your time in exactly the same way.
Through God’s "wisdom" we could make a necessary "review"
of our personal mind, heart and life "stile", to understand if this
"stile" is in harmony with the beautiful and righteous will of
Almighty God. First of all, true faith comes after a deep and sincere self
review, through God's holy word, through his holy spirit, through true
repentance, before our heavenly God and Father, in the holy name and mediation
of his only-begotten Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, our only High
Periest and only Mediator.
The word of God will teach us what to believe instead of what we believe, and
correct our understanding to be in the harmony of the Gospel.
"And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come forth, my people, out
of her, that ye have no fellowship with her sins, and that ye receive not of
her plagues: for her sins have reached even unto heaven, and God hath
remembered her iniquities." Revelation 18:4,5 ASV

What can we really learn from the Bible?
1. The Holy Scripture, the Bible, is inspired by God and it is useful for our
fulfillment: 2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Corinthians 4:6. Any teaching, prophecy or
conduct must be verified with the Bible, but, be careful, it can be
misinterpreted: 2 Peter 3:15,16; Revelation 22:18,19. Those who
distort the Bible are on a dangerous path, because they are deceived by Satan
the Devil (Revelation 12:9).
2. Salvation from sin
and death is achieved through grace, through faith: Ephesians 2:8, 9; Tit 3:5,
in Christ‘s sacrifice: Romans 3:21-36; Luke 221:41-44. Not by deeds, because
then we would annul both Christ’s sacrifice and God’s grace, which is given on
the grounds of the belief in this sacrifice and thus the reason of our
salvation would not be the belief in Christ’s sacrifice: Galatians 5:4-6;
Galatians 2:21 and also the grace would no longer be grace Romans 10:6.
However, the good deeds that God has prepared for us to do, are indispensable
because faith without deeds is void, dead; that is why we must show our faith
through good deeds: James 2:14-20. God’s Word teaches us that the payment for
sin is death and not the sinner’s eternal torment: Romans 6:23. “The lake of
fire” is a great warning signal of the eternal destruction that awaits the lost
ones: Revelation 20:14. This "lake" is the eternal death, the eternal
destruction, as it is so clearly shown: “The lake of fire is the second death.”
Universal salvation (many chances to repent in God's Kingdom for sinners) and
semi-universal salvation (a new chance for sinners to repent in God's Kingdom)
are not biblical teachings (Revelation 21:7,8).
All these are dangerous distortions of the Bible, behind which is Satan the
Devil.
3. God loves every person and He commands all the people everywhere to repent:
Acts of the Apostles 17:30; Romans 2:1-16. There is no possibility of salvation
once a man dies unrepentant, that is why, with true love for mankind, we must
do our best talents to spread the Gospel those who are lost: Matthew 24:14;
Revelation 20:11-15. What would you say about a father who, before any of his
children are even born, decides that he will kill the second and the third one,
no matter what they could be, good or evil? There are a lot of Christians
(Augustinians and Calvinists) who think that God has decided, in this way, the
faith of billions of people. Does God wish the fall or the salvation of His
children? The next verse reject the Augustinian&Calvinist view of
salvation: “God, our Savior, who wishes all the people to be saved and to see the
truth: “1 Timothy 2:3,4. As we see, God wishes the salvation of all the people,
but those who through their bad deeds reject this free grace, fall from grace
and cannot be saved. That is why, when Apostle Paul writes about our
predestination we must bear in mind God’s wish shown to mankind (1 Timothy
2:3,4), for all people and by what and how we can enter in this predestination
of salvation, which is a predestination as a group of believers and not of
individuals: Romans 9:30-33. God did not create a man more sinful than another.
He has not arbitrarily decided one’s destiny, neither one’s fall, nor
salvation, and this even before the individual’s birth. Through repentance
everybody can receive the grace of salvation! Luke 13:1-5.
4. There is only one almighty, supreme, sovereign, eternal, immortal and
unchanging God. He is one single being, one single person distinct from all:
the Creator of heavens and earth, the Father who bears the name of YHWH
(transl. Yehowah, Jehovah, etc.): Exodus 3:13-16. That means that it was not
God who died in pains on the torture pillar (renamed crux), but it was His Son,
Jesus Christ who died: John 3:16; 1 Timothy 6:16; John 20:17; Luke 23:46. Jesus
Christ did not always exist, because otherwise he would be God’s “Twin Brother”
and not His Son, but obviously, as God’s Son, he inherited God’s nature and
this nature is also promised to us, the faithful: 2 Peter 1:4. Of course, Jesus
Christ existed in heaven as a distinct person from the Father, before His
coming on Earth and His birth, Jesus being the beginning of God’s Creation:
Revelation 3:14; John 8:57,58; Philippians 2:5-8. In the beginning, He was
created, that is, brought into existence by God and not given birth by a
heavenly woman (God's heavenly wife), because God is not a man nor a woman and
cannot give birth like a man, nor like a woman. It is only when He came from
heaven and was born like a man that He literally was given birth by the virgin
Mary. The Holy Spirit is not a distinct person from God, because then it would
be God’s “Twin Brother”; it is God’s Spirit. Being created in God’s
image: Genesis 1:26, every person has a spirit, which, however, does not
make him the residence of two twin people: the copy looks like the original, in
the same way as God has own Spirit, which is incomparably more powerful than
our spirit, taking into consideration that we are only miniatures of the
original. The idea and concept of the godly “one-trinity” has been taken from
the pagan philosopher and mathematician Pythagoras of Samos, via Plato,
Aristotle, etc. and “dressed” in meanings from the Bible, by certain prominent
Christians of neoplatonic orientation from Egypt and Cappadoccia, etc. and
imposed on Christians as Bible teaching.
5. We must not believe Satan’s lie that people don’t die: Genesis 3:4, John
3:13, John 11:11-14. The man is a divine creation, God’s creation, being the
result of the joining of flesh and breath or, let’s put it in another way, the
joining of flesh and the spirit breathed by the Creator: Genesis 2:7. As long
as the flesh and the spirit coexist, the man is a being; in biblical terms: man
is a living (breathing) soul. When this union ceases to exist, the man is no
longer a being, a living and breathing soul. He not live anymore, death being
the opposite of life. The only hope for those who die is the resurrection: John
5:28, 29. There is no conscious or subconscious “life” or the purgatory state
after death: Ecclesiastes 9:1-12. Don’t let yourselves be fooled by those who
explain the biblical parables in literal terms: Matthew 13:10-15. If the man
could live after his death, there would be no need for resurrection.
6. The Christians are forbidden to worship (with the meaning of God's worship)
objects, images, people (either living or dead) and angels: Exodus 20:1-5; Acts
of the Apostles 10:25, 26; 14:15; Revelation 19:10; 22:8, 9. They have only one
God, the Father and they worship Him, only Him, as Jesus Christ, God’s Son, did
and taught us to do: Luke 22:41-45; Matthew 4:10. Our worship is in Spirit and truth
and ONLY through His only begotten celestial Son, our High Priest and ONLY
Mediator: John 3:3-7; John 3:13-21; John 4:24; John 8:31,32; John 14:6; Hebrews
4:14-16; 1 Timothy 2:5. If a person bows down to somebody else in sign of
obeisance, courtesy, gratitude, it does not necessary mean that he or she
worship that person: Genesis 23:12; Luke 8:41. Christians are forbidden to kill
and to revenge themselves on their enemies, whatever the reason: Matthew 5:21,
22; Matthew 5:38-48; Romans 12:17-21; James 1:19-21.
7. Before the coming back of God’s Anointed (Christ means the Anointed), there
will be great sorrow and trouble on Earth, which will show that God’s kingdom
and the coming of His Anointed designated as King (of the whole earth) is near,
is at the door: Luke 21:25-31; Matthew 24:29-33; Revelation 6:12-17. The signs
show that God's Anointed comes after the signs, and not before them. A big sing
will be the coming of an anti-God New World Order (2 Thessalonians 2:1-12).
8. In prayer and in gatherings those chaotic manifestations of pagan type which
dishonor God’s gathering must be avoided: Matthew 6:5-8; 1 Corinthians 14:23,40.
9. The Old Testament Sabbath and the abstention from certain foods are not
obligatory now, because these commandments have been unbound: Mark 7:14-23;
Acts of the Apostles 15:1-11; for example, vegetarians are called weak; we must
treat them wisely so they won’t completely lose their faith: Romans 14:1-23.
10. Our Lord Jesus Christ said that the world will not see Him, only His
disciples will: John 14:19. How does this truth tone with that which says that
every eye shall see Him, even those who pierced Him: Revelation 1:7? Very
simple: after the big and frightening sign, which will be the last in a series
(plagues, catastrophes) which will come over the unfaithful: Matthew 24:29, 30.
Revelation 6:1-17.
God tells us: Repent, pray and watch! We have only one chance to enter in God's
Kingdom. Let escape, and run from the wrath to come! Whoever does
not do it, will remain without eternal life.
Remember
1. The snowball man made doctrine of the Trinity is against the holy monotheist teaching about the Father Almighty, as the only true God (Johna 17:3).
2. "Yehowah" is God's holy name, not the „Lord” or „God”. Jesus is not God’s name. Jesus is the only-begotten Son of God, not God Himself, sent from heaven to the earth (John 3:13,16, John 17:5, Revelation 3:14)
3. The story of The rich man and the beggar Lazarus is a fake, not a literal history, nor a parable (Daniel 12:2, John 5:28,29).
The Bible Student Movement and it's fractions story
The problem arises when a "new Russell" appears with strange views, which cannot be justified from the Bible, but who is believed as Christ. This leaders make people to be blind, by their false promises. With such people you have no chance to dialogue. It will be a monologue: You tell them and they don't listen to what you said. You are simply talking into the wind.
A few years ago I was invited to a dialogue with certain factions separated from the movement of pastor CT Russell.
You can't build a dialogue relationship if you don't have peace:
and seek to preserve the union of the Spirit, through the bond of peace. (Eph. 4:3)
But it is difficult to follow a dialogue, where there is no peace that comes from knowing the truth. When everyone strives for the truth that he considers to be the truth, peace cannot triumph. There is no peace where there is no true Leader appointed by God, Jesus Christ.
On the contrary, countless divisions are produced. Here are some of them.
From the internet:
First schism was with the Second Adventist Nelson H. Barbour, the so called chosen vessel of God.
A book about Nelson H. Barbour the chief of CT Russell

After the death of Russell, the so called „Judge”, Rutherford, ejected the majority of the Board of Directors, pilgrims and other bethel workers,
new groups were formed in hopes of continuing the ministry of Pastor Russell. Instead of serving God they focused on serving the "legacy" of a ghost, admiring how great Russell was:
Colossians 2:19. and does not cling to the Head from which the whole body, nourished and well-cohesed, with the help of joints and ligaments, receives the growth that God gives it.
It is no wonder why they stayed so long waiting for the false fulfillment of some stories invented by Russell and his Adventist forerunners.

The Life, Ministry, and Legacy of
Pastor Charles Taze Russell
http://reocities.com/SoHo/lofts/3187/outline.html
CT Russell's wrong view about the gentile times and the great tribulationit will never produce peace or holiness, because the fruit of lies is division and strife.
BS and JW's or their Splinter groups Trip or Mission Reports are so different from those in the book of Acts. No sending or guidance from God is seen. Everything they did was fueled by speculation. Would they still be doing the work if it weren't for these speculations? When belief in these speculations faded, people scattered and many groups died, as is the case of those from BS and JW's Splinter groups.
How can you find the true path?
Be wise and listen to God, through His only-begotten Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, this is the way to understand His will:
Daniel 12:2. The multitude of those who sleep in the dust of the earth will rise: some to eternal life, and others to eternal reproach and shame.
3. The wise will shine like the brightness of the sky, and those who will teach many to walk in righteousness will shine like the stars, forever and ever.
Jesus said to him: "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6)
That's why don't let anyone influence you in terms of faith, be honest and humble with yourself. Don't be fooled by the great "successes" of the so-called "prophets" or "people of faith" in this world.
I you have hard questions about God, or the Bible, ask for help in sincere prayers and holy manners.
Do you have a question about Life and Death? You have the Bible for answers. Read it carefully.
Do you have a question about The Gospel? You have the Bible for answers. Read it carefully.
Do you have a question about anything else? You have God. Ask Him carefully.
God will bless you with right answers if you are sincere and holy!
The insincere and unholy will not receive an answer, but God leaves them prey to a work of wandering.
For this reason, God sends them a work of error, to believe a lie, (2 Thess. 2:11)
They haughtily talk about nothing, they lure, with the lusts of the flesh and with debauchery, those who have barely escaped from those who live astray. (2Pet.2:18)
If you are sincere, compare the snowball doctrine about the so called "Trinity", and you will understand this made by Satan, the Devil, againts the supremacy of Father Almighty (John 17:3).
Who is our God and Father, Jesus? No, He is the Son of God.
God's name is "Yehowah", this is God's holy name, not Jesus.
The story of The rich man and the beggar Lazarus is a fake, not a literal history nor a parable. The maker of this story is Satan, the Devil, not Lord Jesus. See why is a fake: John 5:28,29.
Don't let yourself be deceived.
Is there a human "channel" through which God communicates with us today?
This Bible study group supports the first-century classical Christianity, founded by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the Son of God Almighty.
The primary source for this group is the Bible, which we check by studying the early Bible manuscripts to make sure that the translators met the special requirements for a good rendering of the translated text.
Also in this group we question the statements and teachings of different religious groups, to see if what they claim corresponds to the Bible.
For example, yesterday a Jehovah's Witness, from the so called "True Faith Association" branch, argued that their leaders are the "channel" through which God communicates with people.
How true this statement is, a former missionary of this group tells us in his book, which he called> DEMONISM and the WATCH TOWER (Paperback)
By Roy D. Goodrich
Could have been DEMONIC connection in WATCH TOWER: Jehovah’s Witnesses leaders under the demon's control?
This is a very serious accusation! Could it be true?
Roy D. Goodrich was a devoted Bible Student and Jehovah's Witness who took issue with the tacit endorsement of "junk science" medical devices by the Watch Tower Bible & Tract Society which, to Goodrich, were a form of demonic divination. His is an interesting and very revealing account of how the organization that calls itself "The TRUTH" really operates.
The Apostle Paul exhorts us> But examine all things and keep what is good. (1 Thess. 5:21)
Testing someone is necessary if he claims to speak from God:
"I know your works, your toil and your patience, and that you cannot suffer the wicked; that you put to the test those who say they are apostles, and they are not, and you found them liars.” (Rev. 2:2 )

About me & My statement after my dedication to serve God Almighty and His only-begotten Son (1992)
My testimony
My creed, based exclusively on Holy Scripture, which I have been studying since 1991
Grace and peace to all from God the Father and from His only-begotten Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Glory and honor be to God, our heavenly Father and also to
His only-begotten Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, forever and ever! Amen!
What is my authority?
I have no other authority than the Bible, the Holy Scriptures, I have no other so-called "holy or inspired" books, I have no other authority that guides me, I follow the Bible exclusively. I do not believe as "authority" neither in EG White nor in the leaders of the Jehovah's Witnesses, nor in the leaders of the Ex-Jehovah's Witnesses, nor in anyone else from other cults, that they are an "authority" to whom one should to obey blindly. I'm not even saying that I would be such an authority. I want to be impartial and Satan the Devil cannot deceive me through anyone. That's my goal. That is why I watch day and night and stick exclusively to what I learn from the Bible. God help me and you!
If someone asked you to make a short summary of your faith, a kind of confession of faith, what would it be?
Here, dear brothers and sisters, in short, my creed, after an in-depth study of the Bible, starting in 1991. In 1992, I surrendered my life to God, after He healed me of a serious illness.
Be blessed!
My testimony
My creed
I believe everything written in the 66 holy books of the Bible and I remind you of the warning in it, that if you do not interpret the Bible correctly, you fall astray.
Daniel 12:10, Matthew 13:19, 2 Peter 3:16
The belief I share from the Bible, about God, is the following:
There is only one God, the wise Creator of Heaven and Earth and of all things and beings in the Universe. This is the God of the Bible, known from ancient times as the God of the Jews, Yehowah, He is described as a God of justice and love and as the Almighty Father.
Gender. 1.1, Exodus 20, Matt. 5.45, Rom. 1.20, Deuteronomy 32:4, John 3:13,16, John 17:1-5, 1John 4:8,16, Revelation 3:12.
The Bible shows that the Son of God was made by God our Lord and Savior, after he came from the heaven of heaven to be born on earth through Mary, a holy virgin, through the holy spirit of God and took the name of Jesus Christ (in Greek: Iesus Christos). Before coming from heaven he lived there under another name, in which we will know him again, he being the beginning of God's creation, being made by the Creator the master of creation, unique in being and authority over angels and men.
Genesis 1:26, Daniel 12:1, 1 John 1:1-3, John 3:16; 17:5, Revelation 3:14.
Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Son of our God and Father, was crucified under Pontius Pilate, died for our sins, and was placed in a stone tomb, guarded by a company of soldiers so that he would not be stolen, rose from the dead on the third day for our justification, ascended to heaven to help us and sits at the right hand of the Almighty Father, where he intercedes for us as High Priest. Satan - wanting to take the place of God - is guilty of all evils and that is why the Lord Jesus came to destroy the deceptive works of the Devil. The devil will be definitively defeated at the appointed time because God is Almighty.
Jesus Christ will come again, as KING, with his holy angels, to judge the living and the dead, to reward the righteous and punish the unrighteous, and to restore divine order on Earth. He will rule from heaven as King over the earth for a period of a thousand years. Then Satan will be destroyed with all those who will follow him.
Matthew 3.17, Luke 1.35, John 19.19-42, 1 Peter 3.18, Matthew 6.10, Revelation 20.
The Holy Spirit is the power and intellect of Almighty God, given to the Lord Jesus Christ and to the faithful.
Matthew 28:18.
Whoever believes in the grace of God and His Son and repents - fleeing from all sin and living a new life in love for God and fellow man according to the truth of the Gospel, pursuing sanctification and peace in the holy unity of the assembly of saints, receives the forgiveness of sins, the Holy Spirit and eternal life in happiness at the resurrection of the dead. Amen!
1 Cor. 2.9, Revelation 21: 3-5
That's why I say "Hallelu-Yah!", praising my heavenly Father, Creator of heaven and earth, and His Son, my Lord and Savior!
Come Lord Jesus! Amen!
Who invented the hell?
Hegesippus (born c. 110 – died c.180 AD), also known in history as Hegesippus the Nazarene, was a Jewish Christian historian of the early Church.
He wrote against heresies of the Gnostics and of Marcion which flourished a lot in the first part of the second century and brought rotten fruits. After the deafeat of Marcion's thesis in Rome, Marcion’s disciple Cerdon and Valentinus came to Rome under Anicetus — being defeated by the help of Bishop Polikarp of the Smirneans. In the statement of Eusebius he lived in the time of Antinous (130), and that he came to Rome under Pope Anicetus (Bishop of Rome c. 157–168) and wrote in the time of Pope Eleuterus (Bishop of Rome c. 174–189).
At that time Christian teachings began to be preached dressed in the pagan philosophy of the time and Christian writings were altered to justify these false dogmas.
Hegesippus' works are now entirely lost, save eight passages concerning Church history quoted by Eusebius, who tells us that he wrote Hypomnemata (known as Memoirs) in five books, concerning the tradition of the Apostolic preaching. Jerome wrote that Hegesippus "wrote a history of all ecclesiastical events from the passion of our Lord down to his own period... in five volumes", which has established the Hypomnemata as a Church history. Hegesippus appealed principally to tradition as embodied in the teaching which had been handed down through the succession of bishops, thus providing for Eusebius information about the earliest bishops that otherwise would have been lost. We must lament the loss of other portions of the Memoirs which were known to exist in the seventeenth century.
Who caused these memories to be lost and why? The same happened with the oldest complete copy of the Gospel according to Luke, which disappeared after being photocopied in the 19th century. We could suspect that there were and still are criminal hands and minds in Christianity, who do not want us to know the history and Christian texts from the second century, because they want to preserve the deviant lines of the tradition of people in Christianity, for example the pagan origin of Hell.
How could we believe in the doctrine fabricated by some philosophers about hell, who say that bad people are tormented immediately after death, without having part of the resurrection and judgment, when the Lord Jesus said that all people must have the stain of resurrection and judgment?
John 5:28. Do not marvel at this; because the hour is coming when all those in the graves will hear His voice
29. and they will come out of them. Those who have done good will rise to life; and those who have done evil will rise to judgment.
See here some of the inventors of the hell:
Polybius, the ancient historian, says: "Since the multitude is ever
fickle, full of lawless desires, irrational passions and violence, there is no
other way to keep them in order but by the fear and terror of the invisible
world; on which account our ancestors seem to me to have acted judiciously,
when they contrived to bring into the popular belief these notions of the gods,
and of the infernal regions." B. vi 56.
Livy, the celebrated historian, speaks of it in the same spirit; and he praises
the wisdom of Numa, because he invented the fear of the gods, as "a most
efficacious means of governing an ignorant and barbarous populace." Hist.,
I 19.
Strabo, the geographer, says: "The multitude are restrained from vice by
the punishments the gods are said to inflict upon offenders, and by those
terrors and threatenings which certain dreadful words and monstrous forms
imprint upon their minds... For it is impossible to govern the crowd of women,
and all the common rabble, by philosophical reasoning, and lead them to piety,
holiness and virtue - but this must be done by superstition, or the fear of the
gods, by means of fables and wonders; for the thunder, the aegis, the trident,
the torches (of the Furies), the dragons, &c., are all fables, as is also
all the ancient theology.
These things the legislators used as scarecrows to terrify the childish
multitude." Geog., B. I
Timaeus Locrus, the Pythagorean, after stating that the doctrine of rewards and
punishments after death is necessary to society, proceeds as follows: "For
as we sometimes cure the body with unwholesome remedies, when such as are most
wholesome produce no effect, so we restrain those minds with false relations,
which will not be persuaded by the truth. There is a necessity, therefore, of
instilling the dread of those foreign torments: as that the soul changes its
habitation; that the coward is ignominiously thrust into the body of a woman;
the murderer imprisoned within the form of a savage beast; the vain and
inconstant changed into birds, and the slothful and ignorant into fishes."
Plato, in his commentary on Timaeus, fully endorses what he says respecting the
fabulous invention of these foreign torments. And Strabo says that "Plato
and the Brahmins of India invented fables concerning the future judgments of
hell" (Hades). And Chrysippus blames Plato for attempting to deter men
from wrong by frightful stories of future punishments.
Plato himself is exceedingly inconsistent, sometimes adopting, even in his
serious discourses, the fables of the poets, and at other times rejecting them
as utterly false, and giving too frightful views of the invisible world.
Sometimes, he argues, on social grounds, that they are necessary to restrain
bad men from wickedness and crime, and then again he protests against them on
political grounds, as intimidating the citizens, and making cowards of the
soldiers, who, believing these things, are afraid of death, and do not
therefore fight well.
But all this shows in what light he regarded them; not as truths, certainly,
but as fictions, convenient in some cases, but difficult to manage in others.
Seneca says: "Those things which make the infernal regions terrible, the
darkness, the prison, the river of flaming fire, the judgment seat, &c.,
are all a fable, with which the poets amuse themselves, and by them agitate us
with vain terrors."
Sextus Empiricus calls them "poetic fables of hell;" and Cicero speaks
of them as "silly absurdities and fables" (ineptiis
ac=fabulis).
Aristotle. "It has been handed down in mythical form from earliest times
to posterity, that there are gods, and that the divine (Deity) compasses all
nature. All beside this has been added, after the mythical style, for the
purpose of persuading the multitude, and for the interests of the laws, and the
advantage of the state." Neander's Church Hist., I, p. 7. 11
