A man survive inside a whale? It is possible?

 

Could a man survive inside a whale or a giant fish as in the Book of Jonah?

 

God confirmed!

The book of the Prophet Jonah mentions that the prophet Jonah was swallowed by a huge fish, in whose stomach he survived three days and three nights.

 

Jonah 1:17 And the LORD sent a great fish to swallow up Jonah: and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

 

In order to survive so long in the belly of a fish, it must be from the whale family. The blue whale can reach a length of 30 m and a body mass of over 170 tons; it is the largest animal known to have ever existed. Until the early twentieth century, blue whales were abundant in almost every ocean on Earth. Whalers hunted them for over a hundred years until they came close to extinction, and were protected by the international community in 1966.

 

Pliny the Elder, from the 1st century AD, tells about whales off the west coast of Spain. Both reports were viewed with skepticism, until archaeologists found whale bones in a harbor in the Strait of Gibraltar. The Strait of Gibraltar is a strait that connects the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea and separates Spain from Morocco. Scientists have questioned the credibility of Pliny the Elder's 2,000-year-old account of killer whales hunting near the Strait of Gibraltar, as these whales have since disappeared from the area. But the archaeological evidence shows that Pliny was right. Researchers have discovered whale bones from the North Atlantic right whale (Eubalaena glacialis) and the Atlantic right whale (Eschrichtius robustus) in the ruins of an ancient Roman fish processing facility along the Strait of Gibraltar. The right whale can reach 19 meters.

 

In the first century AD, Pliny the Elder wrote about killer whales (also called killer whales, though they belong to the dolphin family) attacking whales and their young in the Gulf of Cadiz, near the Strait of Gibraltar - the Atlantic located between Africa and Europe. According to Callum Roberts in “The Unnatural History of the Sea” (Island Press, 2008), Pliny described how whales “hide in a certain quiet and spacious depth during the summer periods and enjoy breeding there wonderfully. ”. Pliny continued with a description of the brutal fighting he witnessed as the killer whales attacked the mother whales and their young. But this made no sense to environmentalists. There are very few species of whales that visit the Mediterranean Sea, as highlighted in a 2016 report published in the journal Advances in Marine Biology, and none of these species are known to use the area as a breeding ground. This led scientists to wonder if Pliny's account was accurate or if he could confuse dolphins with whales.

 

But archaeological discoveries prove that Pliny knew what he was saying. Even today, some of the whales venture to the shores of Israel. The gray whale, which was thought to have disappeared from the Atlantic Ocean for 200 years, was spotted off the coast of Israel. On May 8, 2010, the whale was seen in the coastal area near Herzliya, in Tel Aviv, Israel, by members of a local 2-boat yacht club. After people on a yacht spotted the whale, another second yacht with researchers from the Israeli Mammal Research and Aid Center (CMICAM) also spotted it.

 

The French novelist Jules Verne mentioned a story in one of his books about a "modern Jonah". Although some say that the news is a speculation, not everyone disputes it and probability exists. A 51-year-old man named Rainer Schimpf was about to be swallowed by a whale after it reached her mouth. He escaped with his life, but with serious injuries. James Bartley (1870–1909)

He is called Jonah of modern times. In February 1891, James Bartley, a whale hunter, stabbed the harpoon into a whale near the Falkland Islands, and as it fell into the water, it disappeared, and his companions thought it probably disappeared into the water. Two days later, they found a dead whale and noticed something moving in her belly. They cut his stomach and found the unconscious Bartley. After falling into the water, he was swallowed by the whale, and because of the large amount of air in the whale's stomach, he was alive. After washing it well with sea water, they recovered it, and after that Bartley was a little sick for a while, but he got up and worked. On the head and hands, the skin was bleached once and for all and was wrinkled by the acids in the whale's stomach. In time he went blind and died a few years later. The report says: “During his journey in the whale's stomach, Bartley's skin, which was exposed to the action of gastric juice, underwent an amazing change. Her face, neck, and hands faded to a soft whiteness and took on the appearance of parchment. Bartley says he probably could have lived in his carnal shelter until he died of starvation, because he lost his senses because of fear and not because of lack of air. " source 1892,

Another similar case is that presented by Dr. Harry Rimmer, DD, Sc.D .. He claims that a sailor - whom he met personally - fell overboard, was swallowed by a whale shark and was rescued after 48 hours. When the whale was opened, the man was found unconscious but alive. Strangely, instead of enjoying the confirmation of the biblical source, some of the priests did the opposite, questioning these sources doubtfully. When you don't believe in the Bible, you can't believe anything. They state that the account in the book of Jonah is "a sacralization of the elements of a divine message," the message is divine, but the characters are invented; Jonah, the ship, the shipers and the fish being imaginary figures, through which the author presents the divine message of repentance. It is no wonder why the audience of such an explanation leaves and the churches of these pseudo-pious (false) prelates remain empty: no one seems to be persuaded to faith and repentance by "a holy lie."

What are the chances that a man swallowed alive will survive inside a whale or a giant fish?

1. The mouth and swallowing canal (esophagus) of some animals can dilate a lot. Whales can be included in this category. It is a scientifically proven fact.

2. There are whales, such as the sperm whale, which has a large enough esophagus to swallow a person without dilating the esophagus. Clothes can serve as protection against tooth decay, and in some cases should not, because some animals do not crush or crush prey, but swallow it. Whales can be included here.

3. How could Jonah get rid of the deadly gastric juice? The Bible shows that the prophet Jonah had a special protection against the gastric juice, the sea grass, wrapped around him: John 2: 5 The waters compassed me about, the depths compassed me: the depths of the sea were round about me; After swallowing, Jonah was "bandaged" against gastric juice in one of the four chambers in his stomach, each the size of a cow. During swallowing, enough air could have entered these rooms, allowing them to survive. Jonah is not the only case with a happy ending, when he could live with very little oxygen, even if the other two were untrue. Here is an example: Angel Hays, a French motorcycle enthusiast who, in 1937, at the age of 19, suffered a car accident and was pronounced dead due to serious head injuries, with a very disfigured face. Being buried, the company where the insurance policy was made, wanted to convince itself of the accident, so they requested an exhumation, after two days. It was then discovered that the body was still warm and had a vague pulse. He was resuscitated and fully recovered. He was born around 1918 and died on January 12, 2008, in Saint-Quentin-de-Chalais, France. Angel became a French celebrity and inventor. His passion led him to develop a coffin that could support human life, which he demonstrated at a fair in Saint-Aulaye, France, in 1974, surviving 30 hours buried underground, and in 1984 he survived two days buried in a festival in Aubigny, France. His invention led to several television appearances.
